North Beach is a part of this city that I just love, but it’s been forever since I’ve been there. And so I was excited when Jon and Celeste decided on a sophisticated, vintage look for their session — this shoot was the perfect excuse to meander the streets of North Beach and hit some of my favorite spots.
I had a hard time whittling down the photos — the camera loved these two. My favorites were taken at Tosca, where the beautiful, dim lighting lent to some of the more dramatic shots. Also, I learned that Jon used to be a big ballroom dancer, so we got to play that up in some of the photos :)
(BTW, like Celeste’s hair and makeup? She had it done by SF/LA makeup artist Raina Antle.)
