Joe and I just got back from a little getaway in Napa, and we were so excited to check out Bergamot Alley, a new wine bar in Healdsburg that our friends Kevin and Sarah just opened. (Kevin is a former sommelier from A16 and Flour & Water, and the guy knows his wines.) The space is beautiful, and it was so clear to us that they’d poured a lot of heart and soul into the place…There are so many great details: the murals and the schoolhouse chair bar stools and the steampunk door of the storage cellar. And the wine! You won’t find any Napa / Sonoma wines here — Kevin’s picked some damn good Mediterranean ones that are well worth the visit.
Congrats again, Kevin and Sarah. We can hardly wait to go back.
