Candi and John are dear friends of ours from college, but I had yet to meet their son Tommy, so when they asked me to do a shoot with them in Santa Barbara last month, I was thrilled!
Santa Barbara is gorgeous (I kind of want to move there) and it seemed like there were a million places to choose a location for our shoot. We finally set our sights on Hendy’s Beach and the Douglas Family Preserve — a wooded area along the cliffs overlooking the beach. Beautiful. The beach was lovely and the views from the cliff were spectacular.
It was so much fun getting to spend time with friends from back in the day — especially seeing them in their new element as parents. And Tommy is such a cutie — all smiles! This shoot was the perfect excuse to spend time with their new little man…
